Avia Homes is a young dynamic team who is seeking an experiencedConstruction Supervisor, who has a positive can-do attitude, on a full-time ongoing basis.
As a Construction Supervisor you will be reporting directly to the Area Manager and expected to perform the following tasks:
- Build quality homes in accordance with plans, specifications and company construction policies and procedures within contracted timeframes
- Day to day scheduling, management and coordination of trades on site, suppliers & deliveries, completion of paperwork and other admin tasks.
- Ensure correct building practices and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Maintaining site safety and cleanliness
- Ensuring work is completed to a satisfactory standard
- Enforce and adhere to OH&S regulations
- Attend monthly construction meetings
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- QBCC Building Supervisors licence held for minimum 12 months
- Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
- Trade/Construction background
- Current drivers licence
Ideally, we are looking for someone who:
- Has strong leadership & motivational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams of sub-contractors
- An ability to ensure that jobs are scheduled effectively and are managed within budget and time specifications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality
- Confidence and ability in dealing with a diverse range of people
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills, including oral and written communication
- A passion to produce a high quality of work
