The Role
Our Nundah service is seeking highly skilled and pro-active Diploma Qualified Educators to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis.
** Must be available 5 days per week (Mon- Fri) **
As Educator you will provide care and educational experiences for children across the service. You will:
- Assist in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs for individual children or groups
- Record observations of individual children or groups for program planning purposes for qualified staff.
- Set up, facilitate, and clean down after our play-based activities
- Create a friendly, stimulating and interactive learning environment.
- Develop trusting and honest relationships with children, families, colleagues, management and community stakeholders.
This is a diverse role that requires a candidate with a great understanding and knowledge of the NQF (National Quality Framework). You must be a confident and capable Educator, equipped and able to oversee the day-to-day operation of a service.
** Must be available 5 days per week (Mon- Fri) **
Requirements
- Hold a Diploma ECEC (Bachelor of ECE will be highly regarded)
- Minimum 5 years experience in the Early Childhood Education sector
- Possess excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in the workplace
- Have a clear understanding of the EYLF and NQS
- Have a clear understanding of relevant Regulations
- Experience with Childcare and Xplor and Playground would be highly regarded
- Hold or be willing to obtain a current suitability card, First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
