Our Centre: 

Situated in leafy and historic Toowong in one of Brisbane’s most iconic character homes, The Arlington promises to be an amazing education experience for children, families and staff like no other. Close to the river and with city views, we are growing a centre with an intricate blend of old and new; interweaving historic elements with modern state of the art facilities and a huge natural playscape. Current Opportunities:

Lead Educator:

• Lead your team in creating and delivering an educational program that fosters children’s learning and development, while working positively in a team environment. 
• Ensure that families, children, and other educators have a sense of belonging and assess learning, reflecting effectively. 
• Nurture and provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children, and engage in networking with relevant stakeholders in the local community. 
• Maintain a range of records as required under the National Quality Framework and demonstrate the ability to provide and document a high-quality, play-based early childhood program. 
• Show a commitment to best practice and advocacy for children in our community.

Educator:

Casual Educators:

• Assisting with the program design, implemented, and evaluated in consultation with others to foster all aspect of children’s development in a holistic way.
• Be available for several shifts throughout the week.

Your Skills & Experience:

• Current Working with Children's Check - BlueCard (essential) 
• A completed Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or working towards / or desire to study)
• Prior experience in early childhood is highly desirable. 
• Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF.
