Wood - Perth Western Australia is excited to offer an Engineering Design Traineeship. This traineeship requires a two-year commitment by you to complete a Certificate III in Engineering through TAFE whilst working full time, contributing to some of Australia’s largest Oil & Gas engineering assets and projects.

About the Role
We are seeking diverse and talented employees committed to contributing to a productive & healthy team culture.
You will be part of a supportive and close-knit team that will guide and mentor you through this journey. Under the guidance of our senior design staff, you will learn to:
Interpret and produce engineering design drawings using Computer Aided Design (CAD) from sketches and other data.
Review existing drawings.
Learn to share ideas and contribute to innovative solutions to meet the project objectives.
Support the development and improvement of HS&E procedures, initiatives, and programs.
Skills / Qualifications:
About You
You will have the following:
A desire to develop new skills and be enthusiastic about learning.
Be punctual, reliable, conscientious and courteous.
A reasonable level of mathematics.
Successfully completed year 12 or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Willing to attend and complete a Certificate 3 in Engineering at TAFE (company funded)
Able to comply with our Drug & Alcohol policy
