one of our long standing Federal Government clients are moving to a new stage of one of their largest transition projects taken to date and are seeking skilled contractors to join their team and be part of the long term solution as either a Lead or Midlevel EI Developer.
Overview of the Role
As an EI Developer, you will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality API's ensuring reusability, mobility, scalability, and security, Managing API versions effectively, ensuring backward compatibility and seamless transitions between versions. As there are two positions available, having experience leading similar teams is highly desirable.
Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be Australian Citizens to apply. Those with Federal Government clearances are encouraged to apply.
Additional responsibilities include.
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code for integration components
- Conducting code reviews. Planning and executing comprehensive testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing, to verify the reliability, accuracy, and performance of integration solutions.
- Monitoring API performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimising for speed, scalability, and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and resolving integration-related issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and Implement effective solutions.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of Technical specifications and deployment procedures Documenting API endpoints, authentication methods, and usage examples, to ensure ease of use for internal and external developers.
- Staying up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, Integration patterns, and best practices, and applying thin knowledge to optimise and enhance existing integration processes.
Key skills and experiences.
- Experience working with Agile Delivery Teams,
- Experience using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Experience working with Microsoft technologies like C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, React, Web API, SQL server.
- Experience working with cloud-based software development tools like Azure API gateways, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Logic Apps.
- Knowledge of IDAM tools such as SailPoint and IDAM standards, such as SAML, LDAP, and OAuth.
- Knowledge of Cl/CD tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub.
