Form of workHere at Concentis, we have partnered with a Tier-1 mining company to source an E&I Technical Officer to provide support within the Maintenance Services Department.
This is a Gladstone-based role, working Monday-to-Friday with the option for a 9 day fortnight. The ideal candidate will be based in Gladstone or its surroundings or willing to relocate to Gladstone.
Responsibilities
- Supervising, maintaining and replacing electrical equipment
- Being involved in planned and unplanned breakdown work
- Troubleshoot, calibrate and repair fixed plant instrumentation and electrical assets
- Completing verification of E/I scheduled maintenance tests and check sheets
- Identifying and implementing improvement initiatives
- Identifying defects and providing feedback on asset performance, reliability and asset health
- Monitoring, isolating, commissioning and performing preventative maintenance
- Supporting area with Electrical Hazardous area equipment and dossier compliance
- Providing technical support for the relevant area E/I team
About you
- Electrical / Instrumentation trade qualifications
- Experience with the maintenance and installation of VSD drives and IMAC systems
- Ability to apply effective problem solving and fault-finding techniques
- Experience in maintaining, replacing and calibrating of instrumentation equipment
