GR Production Services (GRPS) are currently looking for E&I Technicians to join our team in the Cooper Basin delivering maintenance support for a variety of plant and field assets on 2 weeks on 2 weeks off basis, FIFO ex Brisbane or Adelaide ONLY.
Reporting to our Maintenance Manager and client Team Leaders these roles are primarily responsible for executing preventative maintenance activities for Oil & Gas Facilities and Field assets in the Cooper Basin area.
Candidates will ideally have experience in the industry and can demonstrate experience in field servicing will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Autonomous role – Majority of shift as a lone worker.
- Completing planned E&I and Hazardous Area PM activities as required
- Isolating live equipment
- Supporting a team culture that is safety focused and competent.
- Rigorously applying key controls i.e. Integrated Safe System of Work
- Shutdown, isolation and start up of engines and pumps.
- Ensuring all activities and MOC are managed within the CMMS system.
- Reporting issues and strives for continual improvement.
- Participating in HSE activities and audits
- Supporting the implementation of the GRPS Production Services HSE, Quality objectives and Action Improvement plans
- Maintaining a good rapport with the other GRPS and client personnel
- Previous O&G Experience preferred but not essential.
- Trade Qualification and Electrical Licence essential
- Hold or ability to gain Qld and SA Electrical licenses.
- Cert IV Instrumentation required, Cert III an advantage.
- EEHA Qualification
- Minimum of C Class Drivers Licence.
- HRWL Forklift License with First Aid with CPR all highly desirable
- Previous experience working to tight schedules.
- Basic competence with computer data entry, printing, scanning (work orders, time sheets etc)
