The Opportunity:
Kent is looking for E&I Technicians to join our high performing team on Shell’s QGC business in the Surat Basin, Queensland. This role is offered to residents of the local area and extended to candidates who reside in Brisbane. The work roster is 15 days on 13 days off, 10 hours per day.
This role will be on the Brownfields team so previous experience in Brownfields & Constructions works will be required.
Your Responsibilities:
- Cable installation- ELV, LV and HV
- Cable tray/Conduit and support installation
- ELV equipment installation
- LV equipment installation
- Hold multi-disciplined permits
- Hazardous area inspections
- Hazardous area equipment repairs
- Preservation activities
- Maintaining inventory of project issued equipment for installation
- Electrical compliance testing
- Completing project QA documentation
- Pre commissioning ELV checks on instrumentation
- ELV isolations and fault finding on instrumentation and ELV systems
- Interpret Construction drawings

We would need to see this qualifications & experience…
- Certificate III in Electro Technology
- Current Electrical Licence recognised by the Queensland Electrical Licencing Board
- Cert III in Instrumentation (Mandatory)
- EEHA Certification
- HV Switching Certification and demonstrated experience is desirable
- Current First Aid Certificate & LV Rescue
- Gas Test Atmospheres
- General Construction Induction Training (White Card)
Extra experience that would be beneficial:
- General Brownfields Construction in Plant
