The EL 1Deputy Director operates independently with significant autonomy and accountability for their teams work outcomes. This role requires a high degree of initiative and judgement in interpreting both internal and ICT policies and implementing practices and procedures.Key responsibilities include providing expert ICT Governance, contract management, ICT security, professional advice, and policy guidance on complex matters, as well as contributing to strategic planning, actively participating in contractual matters, and actively engaging in policy development. This entails the need for well-developed skills or knowledge in the following areas - ICT security, contract management and relationship management. While having a background in service management, some technical ICT knowledge, and project management skills can be advantageous.JCG welcomes applicants who may not possess experience and skills in all of these areas, provided they can demonstrate the potential and capacity to develop them.
