About the Role:
The EL 1 Assistant Director Risk (Labour Hire) is accountable under broad direction to undertake very complex work that delivers quality outcomes for our Australian Government client.
The position is a team membership position that has a concurrent requirement to resolve issues and risks across a broad range of activities of substantial depth involving significant detail.
The position will provide support to the team leadership of their work area in the planning and coordination of the team.
The EL 1 Assistant Director Risk (Labour Hire) will coordinate and assume responsibility for undertaking detailed or sensitive projects that may include various activities involving many different and unrelated processes or methods that may impact the strategic or operational outcomes supporting the client's business objectives.
Duties:
- Monitor and analyse trends in risk mitigation, including risk treatment plans used to minimise potential exposure and harness opportunities.
- Develop, maintain and implement risk policies, plans, frameworks and guidelines.
- Lead the development and maintenance of operational risk registers.
- Develop and implement risk management approaches and processes to methodologies, projects or programs.
- Undertake regular risk reviews to ensure continuous improvement of all risk data including controls and treatment actions.
- Establish and monitor key risk indicators and identify and facilitate corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Prepare and review written material including plans, reports, executive briefs and corporate documentation.
Required experience and skills for the Role include:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in risk management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
