As an EL1 in Strategy and Plans Branch, you will be given the unique opportunity to work within a diverse team to deliver Australian Defence Force systems that are at the leading edge of Defence Capability.Your responsibilities will require you to apply your analytical skills and experience across a diverse range of activities which will include program risk management in support of the acquisition and sustainment of Defence capability.This position will be subject to an additional 10% Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This will be in addition to your agreed substantive salary on commencement. Please refer to the Defence Enterprise Agreement 2017-2020 for more information on BDCPs.BDCPs apply, subject to the following:
- Meeting eligibility criteria and maintaining effective performance.
- BDCPs are subject to regular reviews and may be ceased or varied at any time in accordance with Defence Policy.
- BDCPs may cease should you change positions that no longer attract a BDCP.
- Should the BDCP be ceased you will be advised and your salary will revert to your substantive salary.
The Program Management Office – Strategy is an integral part of Strategy and Plans Branch, which is part of the new Guided Weapons Guided Weapons & Explosive Ordnance Capability Development Division. Our Branch comprises various disciplines (including strategy, policy, international engagement, finance, analytics, engineering, project management, commercial, logistics, and corporate enabling services).
