This position reports to the Technical and Design Promotion Manager and based in Fortitude Valley, Australia.Your responsibilities

• Creating demand for the ABB EL product portfolio across all the stakeholders (end customers, consultants, switchboard builders, system integrators and ABB channel partners)
• Focusing on building and infrastructure segment, establishing and maintaining effective relationships across all the stakeholders
• Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensuring cross-collaboration
• Establishing a vision for committed, loyal, long-term customer relationships and implementing steps to reach a shared vision
• Maintaining team success by considering other functions and ensuring collaboration
• Managing administrative procedures in the ABB sales processes and supporting in collection and project management activities when needed

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or business or equivalent
• Preferred 5 plus years of experience in technical sales or business development
• Preferred knowledge of the ABB division product portfolio and the organization (switchgear, UPS and lighting control)
• Has a deep understanding of the buildings and infostructure industry
• Capable of working autonomously and communicating remotely to team and management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Flexibility in travelling as required
