Our Federal Government client is seeking a dynamic and proactive EL1 Executive Officer to join their team in Sydney.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a critical mission and work alongside dedicated professionals in the field of law and justice. This opportunity is for a 12-month non-ongoing role. $110-365 - $134,286k +15.4% super. Sydney CBD location.

The Role:

As the EL1 Executive Officer, you will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and lead a small team. Your role will involve a significant level of autonomy as you actively manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships. We're looking for someone with exceptional judgement, communication skills, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director-Investigations, the Commander-Investigations, and the COO with day-to-day tasks as required.
  • Provide expert advice on corporate, property, and HR matters to senior management.
  • Oversee leasing and facilities management offices in Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra.
  • Implement and maintain governance and administrative procedures for the Sydney office.
  • Supervise and support staff members to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Act as a representative for the corporate team in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with two other Federal Government stakeholders on corporate matters, including Fleet Management.
  • Serve as the point of contact for security matters
  • Manage projects and provide regular updates to Executives.
