Purpose of Position
This role sits within the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCOA).
Reporting to the Executive Director - CCS, the primary purpose of the CCS Executive Officer is to:
- Provide a range of high-level administrative, financial and project services to support the national operations of CCS
- Oversee the operation of the CCS Administrative Support and Children's Teams.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Executive Support
- Act as the office of the National CCS point of contact, liaise with internal and external stakeholders and action requests to coordinate communication and proactively ensure responses meet deadlines.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the office of the Executive Director- CCS, including calendar, travel and email as required.
- Research, analyse and prepare advice and reports on data and other information related to CCS operational matters, to support executive decision making and planning.
- Provide strategic and operational guidance to the CCS National Leadership Team in relation to CCS administrative staff and processes.
- Advise and assist in the preparation of CCS national budgets.
- Undertake regular budget monitoring and reporting activities.
- Guide and support the CCS National Leadership Team in the management of CCS budgets.
- Work with the CCS National Leadership Team to identify project priorities and adjust work plans as required.
- Plan and coordinate project meetings including arranging communications setup, preparing agendas, taking minutes and monitoring follow-up actions.
- Implement, monitor and report on strategic, operational and project plans to inform decision making and support achievement of CCS objectives.
- Manage, through the respective team leaders, the CCS Lighthouse Support Team, Report Allocation Team and Childcare team.
- Develop and oversee the implementation and evaluation of CCS national administrative practices, systems and procedures to optimise efficiency and support the achievement of quality outcomes.
