Your new role
As a Finance Officer within this Department, your role will encompass providing operational support and advice concerning complex financial matters. This includes the strategic planning of branch finances and the funding associated with various programs and projects. You will be expected to apply your accounting skills, detailed analytics, and strategic initiatives to effectively manage, sustain, and forecast the financial profile of the Branch. Your responsibilities within this role will include:
- Offering financial reporting, support, and advice to the Assistant Director and Director.
- Managing the collection of information to monitor program budget, forecasts, and expenses.
- Liaising with finance business partners to maintain internal controls and meet financial reporting requirements.
- Monitoring and processing accruals and vendor invoices.
- Enhancing financial processes and systems for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
