This full-time position offers a flexible, hybrid work environment, ensuring a great work-life balance. While the role is based in Richmond or Geelong, some in-office time is required. Only Australian Citizens are eligible to apply.About the RoleThe Integrity Investigator will conduct internal investigations into integrity and conduct matters involving employees, in accordance with the Public Service Act 1999. They may also handle primary Reviews of Action under Section 33 of the Act and manage external jurisdiction cases. The role involves conducting administrative investigations and enquiries, adhering to legislative requirements and the APS Values, Employment Principles, and Code of Conduct. The Investigator will support the Director on integrity and conduct matters, contribute to administrative processes, and positively impact the team and agency outcomes. The role requires a variety of skillsets to form an effective, multi-disciplinary team, and demands the highest levels of integrity, professionalism, and impartiality due to the sensitive nature of the information handled.Key Skills
- Investigation and Reporting Skills: Demonstrated experience in conducting public sector misconduct investigations and producing thorough, timely investigative reports for senior management.
- Analytical and Ethical Judgment: Ability to use investigation, analytic, and assessment skills to deliver objective, impartial, and ethical outcomes while driving investigations autonomously with sound judgment and effective prioritization.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Agile Environment: Proven experience in delivering outcomes within a fast-paced, agile environment, including collaborating with stakeholders.
- Discretion and Case Management: Aptitude for handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality, proficiency in case management, and a robust risk management approach.
- Legislative Knowledge and Risk Evaluation: Experience in researching, interpreting, and applying relevant legislation, conducting risk evaluation processes, and contributing to policy and process reviews and integrity projects.
