About the role
Project Manager with construction management background who has skills in Project delivery with an understanding of security measures in building projects. You must have an understanding in the administration of contracts, building regulation compliance, fee negotiation with specialist contractors, management of allocated budgets and be able to project manage locally and remotely. The role is to keep the project delivery progressing (on time and on budget) whilst protecting the integrity of the design and ensuring full compliance with security measures/regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee design and documentation through all project phases.
- Handle project variations and change control.
- Prepare progress reports and communicate with stakeholders.
- Establish project administration systems and document control.
- Manage project costs and ensure quality standards.
- Liaise with suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
- Maintain and report on project schedule progress.
- Manage risk management processes and contingency plans.
- Coordinate handover and completion activities.
- Ensure compliance with legislative obligations.
You must have:
- Experience in delivering construction and physical security infrastructure projects.
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders and develop project briefs.
- Experience in procuring consultants and contractors.
- Review design documentation for security compliance.
- Conduct site visits and develop statements of work.
- Draft contract work orders and monitor budgets.
Travel:
Domestic and overseas travel will be required to sites as per project schedule
