Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
Manages all aspect of the project life cycle including operational checkpoint activities and work with team members to oversee all phases of project completion through to business-as-usual including transition phase.
Contributes to capacity planning and project resourcing activities as required.
Coordinates project deliverables in accordance with the integrated master schedule.
Oversight of the risk and controls processes relevant to project delivery, ensuring adequate and appropriate risk and issues management is applied.
Analyse project trends relevant to delivery, ensuring risks or concerns are appropriately addressed or escalated.
Provide regular knowledge and skills transfer to program and project team members to achieve optimal productivity and high quality of deliverables.
Skills and experience
Previous experience with metric style reporting.
5+ years’ experience with Project Management.
Highly desirable criteria
Previous experience with Federal Government.
