Junior Project Manager - Cyber

Acclimatise Pty Ltd is seeking a suitably experienced Project Manager to join a prominent Cyber Defence program in Russell ACT. The role on offer is for a 12 month+ contract 

The program on offer is looking for a Cyber Project Manager with an NV1/NV2 clearance.

The Project Manager role within the cloud platforms team is an essential part Cyber and networks branch's transition of departmental services to the cloud.

Working with the Branch's program manager, section leadership, AWS and Azure technical leads, the role is responsible for coordinating the sections resources to deliver platform security and support as well as onboarding of new workloads.

The role will require:

• The ability to work with cross functional teams, dispersed locally and overseas.
• Understanding of relevant cyber security considerations for the Australian. government including the ISM and Essential Eight.
• An understanding of the operation and management cloud platforms.
• Manage technical teams and clear roadblocks for delivery.
• Delivery of projects at the direction of the CISO to support ongoing security hygiene.

The role provides the opportunity to support the organisation at a critical stage of its cloud journey. With several production workloads already operating, the delivery manager will work to deliver ongoing maturity uplifts in areas such as FinOps.

The organisation is seeking to establish a multi-cloud, and the cloud Project Managers role will be crucial in ensuring the ongoing governance and operation of these cornerstone capabilities.
