About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an Early Childhood Teacher. This position will deliver an early childhood education program and provide pastoral support to the students. Delivery of the content and pedagogy will achieve the best outcomes for young learners.
As a key member of our Early Learning Centre, you will bring passion to the Centre and above all, have a willingness to engage, connect and care for our students.
This is a leave replacement for full time, fixed term teaching role, commencing in Term 3 2024.
About You
We are seeking an innovative teacher who brings passion, enthusiasm, and care to the ELC staff, children, and families of Tintern. To be considered you will need to demonstrate current understanding of the following:
VEYLDF, NQF, Planning Cycle, Delivery of Inquiry Based Project work, and Cultures of Thinking.
Best theoretical and practical knowledge.
Care and connectedness with students alongside identify and cater for individual learner needs.
Work closely with families regarding the process and development of their children.
Participate in the creation, development and evaluation of an innovative curriculum and stay informed regarding current educational trends.
Ability to encourage and motivate young students.
Strong communication and organisational skills
Highly developed interpersonal skills
You will have a desire to work collaboratively with other teachers and actively engage in the broader life of the School
Strong IT skills
Current VIT registration and relevant qualification.
