Electrcial Estimator

You'll be working for a well ran & successful tier 2 electrical contractor in the Inner-West, who specialise in projects rising up to $20m in the commercial new build, fit out, and school and aged care space.They are looking for an estimator with a few years experience under their belt, who could confidently complete electrical tenders under the guidance of the Directors.Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and presentations
• Review building plans and specifications to determine the scope of work
• Assess material costs required
• Determine contractor and labour Needs
• Work closely with project teams to ensure costs are accurately estimated
• Maintain cost database
• Calculate job profitability

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years electrical estimating experience in the commercial space in Australia.
• Ideally, an electrical trade background with sound understanding of electrical installations.
• Comprehensive understanding of current industry rules and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating.
• Experience with Espro or ConEst would be highly beneficial
