About the role:
Metrowest seeks an A grade electrician with communications experience to join our growing team. Working at a multitude of sites in the Perth Metro area, every day brings something different. We are looking for someone who can work autonomously and within a team environment to deliver Electrical and Communications installation works and efficient reactive and preventative electrical maintenance services, with the support of our expert team.
The main tasks of this role include the following:
- Power and lighting fault diagnosis and repair
- Power & lighting cabling and equipment installation
- Motor power and control circuits investigation and repair
- Electrical equipment replacements
- RCD, emergency light testing, thermographic inspections
- Data & Communications experience - Installation, termination, and commissioning of Cat 6A, Fibre, Coax networks, etc
- Conduit, cable tray, catenary wires, and cable containment & support
- Testing and Commissioning
To be considered, you must be able to demonstrate you have knowledge and experience in:
- Assisting clients in their queries and ensure that follow ups are conducted
- Working unsupervised and autonomously
- The ability to 'fault find' and solve routine and reasonably complex problems
- Sound knowledge of HSE practices
- Sound knowledge of AS 3000 & WAER.
- Construction White Card
- Current Drivers Licence
- Work Safely at Heights (desirable)
- EWP ticket over and under 11 meters (desirable)
- Well presented, professional and take pride in your work
- Punctual and reliable
- Friendly, positive, courteous demeanour

- Possess strong communication skills
- Have competent planning and prioritisation skills
