As we add more and more innovation to our delivery portfolio we are looking for Electrical and Instrumentation specialists to provide the very best outcomes for our clients.
We are actively seeking an experienced E&ITechnician to work as part of our Queensland Team team in either a full-time or part-time capacity.
What we want:
- An operator who has worked around water networks and can apply experience and knowledge to gain an outcome.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Electrical and Instrumentation issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques
- Using software tools like PLC programming, DCS programming, or SCADA systems, develop and put into practice control plans.
- Operate assets appropriately to ensure no adverse outcomes.
- Interrogate and manage instrumentation required to deliver the services.
- Ability to maintain and deploy smart sensors such as flow, pressure, and water quality monitoring equipment along with a variety of bulk water meter assets
- Preventative & corrective maintenance on water/wastewater plant E & I equipment.
- Execute E & I preventative maintenance plan in accordance with client MMS.
- Liaise with client Maintenance & Engineering personnel
- Perform updates, repairs and troubleshooting on PLC Programming equipment.
- Develop and mentor apprentices and other team members
- Physically fit with the ability to work some unsociable or unconventional hours.
What we need
- Holder of a current Electrical License Qld.
- Holder of UEE31211 - Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control.
- High Voltage Switching would be advantageous, but not a pre-requisite.
- Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCS) & SCADA Systems experience would be desirable
- Ideally has a minimum of 2 experience in industrial Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance in either water or mining environments.
