The role
On behalf of the client, we are seeking an Automation/Electrical Engineer to be responsible for design, procurement, construction, and commissioning for electrical, instrument, and control of plant and processing equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and maintain PLC's and supervise SCADA systems.
- Provide operational support to the engineering team.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation.
- Generate electrical, instrument and/or control system engineering deliverables.
- Ensure that relevant regulatory requirement and standards are met.
- Practical site-based experience with electrical, automation and Control Systems.
- Demonstrated experience in a process control engineering.
- A bachelor's degree in chemical or electrical engineering or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
