About the role:
Electrical Designers are responsible for creating and modifying electrical and instrumentation drawings, such as single line diagrams, schematics, termination diagrams, equipment layout drawings, and 3D models. You will use CAD software like MicroStation to produce accurate and detailed designs that meet the specifications and standards of clients and engineers.
Our skilled team of multi-disciplined Engineers and Designers will support you with the training you need to smoothly transition into the role of Electrical Designer. Will you provide with you the tools to succeed and the ability to excel in your new career path.
You will have:
- A valid electrical license and experience in the electrical trade
- A certificate or diploma in electrical engineering, electrical trade studies, or a related field
- Experience working in mining is advantageous
- Understanding of relevant Australian and industry codes and standards
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and standards
- Computer literate with the ability to learn new systems
- Proficiency in CAD software is advantageous
- Right to work in Australia
