Position Overview:
As an Electrical Engineer at HAZ, you will be an integral part of our team, working on challenging projects in Hazardous Areas and the emerging Hydrogen Industry. You will be responsible for electrical design, dossier compilation, report preparation, area classification, and providing technical guidance to inspectors and clients. Your role will contribute to the safety and compliance of our projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Electrical design for Hazardous Areas installations.
- Review & Compile dossiers and preparation of reports.
- Coordination of start-up and job close-out meetings.
- Understanding of Area classification
- Providing technical guidance to clients as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Or recognised by Engineers Australia).
- Understanding of Hazardous Areas.
- Some engineering design experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience, preferably in utilities, oil and gas, or mining.
- Prior experience in an engineering consultancy role is derirable.
- Confidence in supporting and providing guidance to others.
- Resident of Australia
- Unrestricted right to work in Australia.
- Strong diplomacy and client interaction skills.
- High-level report writing ability.
