Due to growth and continued success in the eastern region, this well known electrical EPC is now looking for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer for their Brisbane office

The Role
This role is a key leadership position and will take on a number of critical responsibilities including design and technical leadership, resource management, Client and stakeholder management and project delivery. The primary technical focus will be to deliver a broad range of HV & LV Electrical Engineering projects predominantly in the Minerals Processing field.
Your responsibilities will include
- Development of concept, scope and cost estimation of engineering services
- Delivery of design and technical management of electrical projects for their existing customers
- Technical leadership and allocation of engineering resources to meet project deliverables
- Engage with Clients and Stakeholders including negotiations for variations to scope and services
- Take on a key leadership role in maintaining an high level of safety and OHS
Key Skills and Competencies Required
- Electrical Engineering degree with extensive knowledge and experience in HV and LV electrical or power systems specifically within the mining and minerals industry
- Significant experience or involvement within the mining, minerals, resources or heavy industries ideally representing an EPCM or leading consultancy.
- Proven leadership ability in a similar role or environment where you have lead teams of engineering and project staff.
- Previous experience in P&L / financial and budgetary management of an engineering or services business including cost estimation.
- The ability to communicate directly and clearly at all levels of the business and especially with Clients and stakeholders
