Electrical Engineering Technician

On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment Services is looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer Technician who has strong communication and time management skills, self-motivated and must have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.?
The position may also require skills in leading a small team or groups and ability to train new members of the team.
This is a full-time position which may involve weekend work and some unplanned hours of work where the need arises
Required Skills and Experience:

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering technology, or similar.
• A minimum of two years of experience as an electrical technician in a related industry.
• Extensive knowledge of Electrical Engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs

Tasks and duties include:
This role will see you completing hands-on activities to fabricate, assemble, erect, test, maintain and / or repair equipment and components in line with industry best practices, company standards, policies, and procedures.
Other skills required:

• To adhere to Workplace Health & Safety and Quality procedures
• Ability to work within a team environment with the ability to take direction
• Good communications skills essential
• Demonstrated integrity and good presentation
• A professional work attitude
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Superior attendance
• High focus & attention to detail
