The RoleOur client is seeking a skilled and dynamic Electrical Estimator. You will liaise with suppliers, clients, consultants, and manufacturing staff to identify and estimate manufacturing costs. You will ensure that the costs are monitored and managed from the planning stages through to construction. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Review tender documents assessing the scope, risks involved, and tender complexity and provide feedback
- Compile relevant tender information and estimate the price
- Make tender documents where applicable using client feedback
- On the successful tender, brief the project team on the tender requirements
- Regularly meet with stakeholders to discuss project status and respond accordingly
You have established knowledge and experience as an Electrical Estimator. You are a results-driven practical technician who is dedicated to delivering work to a high-quality standard and promptly. These traits would see you excel in the role and within the company. Skills and personal attributes for the role are:
- Trade qualifications – Full Electrical license and Estimating Electrical Projects (CET)
- Great communication with the team and clients
- Current driver's licence
- Previous experience in the assembly, fitting, wiring, and testing of electrical switchboards
