The Opportunity
ACCIONA are leaders in design, consulting, analysis, technical advice for construction and construction supervision in the full range of civil engineering, industrial engineering and architectural projects.
We are currently looking for a Document Controller to join our team in Sydney. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining efficient control of project related documents and records to ensure that all work is done from up-to-date revisions / versions and all evidence is appropriately filed.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with Document Control and Documentation Management Plan.
Ensure accurate uploading and distribution of project related documents, records, and correspondence.
Auditing, monitoring and ‘self-checking’ of project document control and records management activities.
Contribute to the development of control checks and document control procedures, ensure they are followed and report any issues.
Ensure that Team Binder is being used as the primary system for communication and document management.
Ensure all new revisions of drawings and documents replicated in and appropriately distributed in Team Binder.
Required Skills and Competencies
Previous experience ideally in a Document Controller role ideally in Construction however not essential.
Knowledge of or ability to learn AutoCAD and MicroStation
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills.
