Are you a skilled Generator Electrician ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a driven Electrical Fitter to join the dynamic team at our client's QLD branch.
As a Generator Electrician, you will tackle a variety of tasks, from field service works to internal workshop projects. Your role will involve electrical expertise, fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs to diesel and battery powered equipment.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Experience in renewable and sustainable power generation preferred.
- Knowledge of generator control systems and diesel engines advantageous.
- Alternator reconfiguration
- AVR setup
- Woodward governor (settings engine speed parameters)
- Toroid installation
- DSE Controller programming
- Panel wiring
- Load testing
- Read drawings (electrical schematics)
- Generator and lighting tower knowledge
- Able to service a generator (change filters/oil etc)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified Electrical Certification & Generator Experience
- Current QLD Electrical Work License
- Current QLD driver's license
- Forklift License desirable
- QLD Electrical contractors’ license preferred
