We’re looking for a skilled Linesperson or Electrical Fitter Mechanic with distribution line experience to permanently join our team located in Clermont.

Remuneration -
- From $97,006 per annum + 12.75% Superannuation.
The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the applicant’s knowledge, skill and competencies required for the position.
Remote Location Incentives -
If you’re looking to boost your Superannuation before retirement or perhaps, you’re saving to enter the property market, the following allowances will go a long way towards reaching your financial goals.
- Non-Urban Zone Allowance – up to $11,125 per annum.
- Housing Allowance – up to $16,640 per annum.
- Locality Allowance – up to $2,509 per annum.
- Non-Urban Time Recognition Payments - $5,000 after 2 years and if you decide to stay on for 5, 10, 15 or even 20 years, we’ll pay you $10,000 at each milestone.
And, if you don't currently live in this neck of the woods, we'll also chip in up to $10,000 relocation assistance to make the move just that little bit easier.

About the role:
As a Linesperson you will:
- Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Linesperson.
- Construct, maintain and repair overhead, high and low voltage electrical distribution and sub-transmission systems, street lighting mains and customer service lines.
As an Electrical Fitter Mechanic, you will:
- Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence.
- Install, repair, commission and maintain various items of electrical equipment and plant.
About you:
Critical to your success in the role, is your:
- Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network.
- Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations.
- Availability for call out and emergency work.
- Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work.
- Current ‘C’ class open Drives Licence.
