We are currently seeking an experienced mid-level Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our Plant & Process team in Brisbane.
Who are we looking for?
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Deliver across a wide range of Projects and Industries such as; hydrogen and renewable energy, oil and gas, process plants, power stations, water and wastewater and transport
- Assist in development and delivery of key design documents to ensure the timely, accurate and cost effective delivery of projects
- Be a motivated Engineer, and be keen to deliver high quality outputs as an integral member of our team
- Work within a collaborative environment on a diverse range of national and international projects
What you will bring to the team:
- RPEQ or working toward obtaining this with a minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial engineering environment such as Oil & Gas, Water, Energy or Mining
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Controls, Mechatronic, computer system or similar)
- Experience in renewable energy and industrial communications systems ; SCADA, PLC/DCS and Hazardous Areas and Functional Safety (AS/NZS 60079, AS 61508, AS IEC 61511 and AS/NZS 4024) with solid knowledge of relevant standards for electrical and instrumentation including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008.1.1 and ANSI ISA 5.1
- Be an excellent communicator with good report writing skills with a proactive and adaptable mindset
