Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Seqwater to deliver leading maintenance services in the water industry. These projects cover South East Queensland across multiple locations.
We are currently seeking a qualified Electrical Maintenance Planner to join our team. The role is responsible for planning work, including scoping, estimating durations and costs; forward planning of spares or special tools; writing of detailed job plans; resource balancing and assigning; while ensuring that safety, productivity and reliability of our assets are maintained.
At this time, we will consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region, in place.
Responsibilities
Review of all works prior to making available for scheduling, as well as approval of work priority and latest completion dates
Develop work packs including scope of works, parts, materials, resources required (Internal and External), isolations and safety documentation/permits
Creation of shutdown work packages and identification of outage requirements
Responsible for the identification, and planning of dates for planned shutdowns and outages, including any permits and site access requirements (PASS), ensuring confirmation of dates for all resources, plant and equipment before making available for scheduling
Ordering of parts/materials/external resources and confirming availability before making work available for scheduling, while managing the estimation of duration and costs
Identification of routine works that require no/limited planning to reduce the planning work loads
Review of completed works for improvements and amendments to work packs and planning data
Creation and management of a 90 day forward lookahead for high risk works and works requiring plant shutdown/reduced capacity
Complete all administrative tasks association with the role of the position while complying with the behavioural expectations set out in the Seqwater Code of Conduct, policies and procedures
Experience
Knowledge and understanding of the scope, function and nature of the Electrical assets used in water treatment and bulk water storage
Technical knowledge of industry best practice and asset requirements in the water industry
Extensive experience in the field of electrical maintenance of Water Assets or similar industry
Demonstrate a willingness to discuss and implement improvements in procedures and systems
Experience in developing program reporting
Project cost estimating experience is desirable
A good understanding of cost benefit analysis with regards to capital expenditure projects
Proven ability to identify emergent risks and ensure timely and effective responses.
Skills / Qualifications:
Associate Diploma in Engineering, or an appropriate trade qualification in electrical discipline as relevant to the position
Possess a current "C" class Queensland Drivers Licence
Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously when required, as well as display a willingness to participate positively and constructively in the enhancement of the team environment
Demonstrate sound written, interpersonal and oral communication skills including the ability to consult with employees, contractors, customers and the public
Ability to perform effectively in a changing environment and maintain an up-to-date skills and knowledge base
Extensive experience in the use and fundamentals of CMMS systems commonly used within the Maintenance Planning field
High level skills in the use of Microsoft Office suit of programs including Word and excel.
Ability to interpret and analyse data to identify trends, outliers and generate reports for action both within the team and our external stakeholders
