Where your story begins:
We currently offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Planner to join the team at our close-knit Toolara plant. Reporting to the (Maintenance) Leader, you will be an integral member of the MDF support team and accountable to deliver cost effective and proactive maintenance planning to meet short- and long-term needs of the plant. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing cost effective and proactive maintenance planning strategies to meet immediate and long term needs of the plant
• Coordinate and plan maintenance activities utilising the MEX CMMS system
• Drive scheduled predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance
• Prepare schedules for internal staff and external contractors, using the current computerised maintenance system (MEX)
• Assist in the development of budgets, business cases and continuous improvement solutions
• Building shutdown schedules, including creating work orders through our CMMS, communicating with site based and offsite stakeholders, arranging the resourcing required for shutdown execution, and ensuring the correct materials and spares are available

You will play a critical role in the development and implementation of reliability systems and processes that will ensure the continued success of the business through the improvement of machine reliability and availability.
Role you'll play:
Along with well-developed communication and people management skills you will need to have the following skills and experience:

• An engineering, mechanical or electrical trade qualification
• Experience in planning and executing shutdowns and maintenance
• Contractor management experience
• Demonstrated experience in engineering/mechanical maintenance
• Good knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• A strong health and safety attitude
• Working knowledge of computer-based maintenance systems (MEX), MS Project)
• An understanding of preventative / predictive maintenance philosophies
