Electrical Or Maintenance Fitter

Cromford Pipe Holdings Pty Ltd is a privately-owned Australian company specialising in the manufacture and distribution of polyethylene pipe into the civil, water, waste water, irrigation and mining sectors throughout Australia.

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join the maintenance team at our Moss Vale plant to perform the following work:

• Preventive maintenance on extrusion machinery and ancillary equipment
• Performing Mechanical Rebuilds
• Attend to breakdowns to ensure continuous production
• Monitor, obtain quotes and place orders for electrical and Mechanical spares and consumables
• Calibration of machinery including weigh scales, 0-10 volt and 4-20ma control systems
• Project work including installation of new machinery
• Have positive input into design, planning and implementation of site improvements

REQUIREMENTS

• Industrial experience
• Proactive self-starter to work with maintenance team 
• Experience in industrial maintenance including fault finding
• Mechanical aptitude to understand and assist site fitters
• Basic IT capability (Microsoft Outlook, work, excel)
• Current drivers licence
• Forklift licence preferable
