Electrical Project Engineer

We are currently hiring for an Electrical Project Engineer for a position spanning across a range of industries and in either the Ashmore area or Brisbane. 
This is a great opportunity to join a well established and renowned company that have been operating for over 30 years, on offer is a permanent fulltime position where you will be able to excel your skills and experience with an  expanding company on a variety of exciting projects. 

Job Details:

• Competitive renumeration packages up to $120-$140K negotiable 
• Projects spanning across Water/Waste Water, Mining, Industrial/Commercial construction to list a few  
• Newly built office and workshop located in the Ashmore area 
• Stable and ongoing contracts leading into the years to come 
• Electrical project and design engineers encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

• Management Plans – Development of Management Plans to meet the Clients’ expectations.
• Engineering Management – Ensure development of an effective and compliant engineering solution.
• BOM - Preparation of a compliant, cost effective, Bill of Materials.
• Switchboard Manufacture – Quality control and delivery coordination.
• Control Systems – Ensure development of a complete and compliant control system.
• Quality – Development of Inspection Test Plans, Commissioning Plan, and associated check sheets.
• Variations – Preparation of estimate and proposal.
• O&MM – Preparation of submission documents to meet Clients’ expectations.
• Follow and demonstrate Values in everyday activities.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified Engineer
• 5+ years industrial projects experience – design, drafting, testing, reporting
• Sound knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and regulations
• Previous experience working in compliance with a quality management system
• High level communication skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Ability to plan, schedule and organize personnel and materials
• Initiative, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic.
