Project Engineer - Electrical We wish to compliment our existing team with an experienced Project Engineer - Electrical for our Queensland Utilities requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further and gain industry-relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout.
Role Responsibilities:
Participating and providing input in SiD reviews and workshops including, CHAIR, HAZOP, CHAZOP, and other workshops as required
Management of subcontractors delivering project work and co-ordination of functions including technical support during construction, quality, contracts, claims, variations, audits, etc.
Technical input into procurement including support during execution and management of the procurement process to delivery
Overseeing project practical completion documentation and deliverables
Manage the quality Lots, and ITP's/ITC’s during construction and commissioning stages
Requirements:
A degree level qualification in Engineering (Electrical or directly related)
Sound experience in a Project Engineering role, including design knowledge to influence outcomes and ensure compliance with client specifications and Australian standards
Experience on construction projects in water infrastructure, including Water Treatment Plants / Waste Water Infrastructure
Experience with subcontractor management, project financials, procurement, and HSE planning
