We are looking for a Project Engineer to become part of this amazing team located in Eagle Farm.

About the role:
As a Project Engineer, you will be integral to the implementation of electrical and communications installations including time spent both inside the office working with the design team and on project sites investigating, verifying, and supervising construction works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review existing electrical and communications installations to inform design.
- Managing a design team consisting of Engineers and draftspersons to create detailed IFC designs.
- Conduct maximum demand assessments for new and existing installations.
- Perform LV/HV/Comms site investigations to verify as-constructed information.
- Create high-quality technical and design reports, including specifications and Bills of Quantities for inclusion in tender document packages.
- Supervise electrical contractors during construction to ensure installations align with the design and documentation.
- Verify electrical contractor installations at hold and witness points as well as assist with final works package certification.
- Reviewing electrical contractor provided, photos, test sheets and checklists.
- Attend, document, and produce Safety in Design works.
Qualifications,
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or;
- Diploma of Electrical Engineering or;
- QLD Electrical Licence (current or previous)
Required Experience/Skills
- Practical understanding and approach to electrical works.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the electrical and communications field.
- Simple use of AutoCAD software.
- Experience with LV maximum demand software is valuable.
- Construction supervision experience.
- Safety in design experience.
- Proven ability to create technical and design specification documents.
