Our client , in JV partnership with a BoP Contractor, are currently in the installation phase of a 200MW/400MWh utility scale BESS project in the Clare Valley Region, Adelaide. The scope is to supply and commission the BESS area, taking ownership of the installed equipment from the BoP Contractor and commencing pre-commissioning, cold commissioning and hot commissioning including GPS compliance assessment and R2 model validation test.
As the successful applicant you should have the following experience and attributes:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a supervisor in a commissioning environment.
- Managing and supervising 2- 3 teams of between 6-9 commissioning electricians / E&I technicians / Electrical TAs.
- Ability to follow procedures and risk assessments.
- Prepare commissioning documentation such as permits, notice of energization, isolation lists etc.
- Hold Current and valid Electrical License for South Australia.
- Hold White Card
- Hold a valid Australian driver's license.
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and rugs and alcohol screen.
- Hold current and valid Low Voltage (LV) rescue training.
- Experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems and Low Voltage switchboards.
- Ability to fault find High Voltage/Low Voltage/Control.
- Experience with HSE requirements of Battery Energy Storage Systems / HV Substations sites.
- Be reliable, adaptable and have a great work ethic
Beneficial to have:
- Be experienced in being a Lock Holder
- Current and valid first aid and CPR training
- BSBWHS411 – Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures, and programs.
- BSBWHS414 - Contribute to WHS risk management.
- CPPFES2005 – Demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment.
- HV switching (desirable not essential).
