About the role
As an Electrical Technician within our Works Delivery Team at TasNetworks, you will work on the supply and distribution of HV & LV ground and underground assets across North West Tasmania. Working towards safe, efficient and customer focussed outcomes, the roles responsibilities include:
- Attendance at a variety of sites to install data logging devices on our network, analysing the results and completing relevant reports.
- Assist with the construction and commissioning of a variety of different assets.
- Overtime and on call roster available (following required training and process) for those seeking additional hours

About you
We are looking for candidates with a pro active, can do approach, who are able to demonstrate the ability to get things done safety and efficiently.
You will be a trade qualified Electrician (with Electrical Practitioners Licence), working amongst a team of other Electricians, Lineworkers, Cable Jointers and apprentices, to complete programmed works within customer focussed deadlines.
Other desirable qualifications include high risk work licences for Dogging (DG), Elevating Work Platforms (WP), Vehicle Loading Crane (CV) and knowledge of computer systems including SAP and Microsoft Office packages. Willingness to complete these requirements if not held will be highly regarded.
