We have an exciting opportunity for highly motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentices to join our established and highly experienced team based in Knoxfield, in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. Working in a collaborative and team-based environment, and reporting to the Branch Installation Manager, the Electrical Apprentices will assist with electrical and data projects as part of our established installation team.

Tasks & Responsibilities
An apprentice at Datavoice will be required to:
- Adhere to the apprentice/trainees code of conduct as outlined in the Induction Handbook for Apprentices.
- An electrician's work is generally physically demanding such as climbing ladders and lifting tools and supplies. Occasionally an electrician must work in a cramped space or on scaffolding, and may frequently be bending, squatting or kneeling, to make connections in awkward locations. Construction electricians may spend much of their days in outdoor or semi-outdoor on noisy and dirty worksites.

Apprentice Electricians need:
- Be in there 2nd or 3rd Year of their apprenticeship
- Australian Drivers Licence
- To enjoy technical work. ·
- Have good vision and hand-eye coordination.
- Accuracy, with a keen eye for detail.
- Good physical fitness.
- To be safety conscious.
- To be able to work independently and in a team.

- Voice and Data Installations may consist of the following:
- Networks e.g., Switch, Router, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi
- Fibre-optic Cabling
- Data Cabling
- Take the necessary steps to apply for any applicable registrations/ licenses required to practice the trade
