The facility employs approximately 430 employees and processes approximately 900 head per day, operating 4 days/week.
About the Role
JBS Townsville is currently recruiting a qualified Electrician to join the Maintenance on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will be responsible for the continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems.
A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to applicable candidates. *Conditions apply.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Be actively involved with inspections of equipment undergoing rebuild or repair
- Proactively approaching the implementation of preventative maintenance
- Effectively communicating with the management team in relation to equipment and systems
- Possess a current, valid electrical trade qualification
- QLD Electrical registration
- Experience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment advantageous
- Ability to demonstrate integrity and a professional work attitude
- Ability to work a rotating roster of day and afternoon shifts
