About the role….
• Carry out installations and maintenance of lighting, power and communications systems
• Install and maintain event temporary electrical services including but not limited to telephones, lighting and power.
• Assist with general building maintenance operations and other trade related activities
• Liaise with the wider BCEC team ensuring all activities and tasks are completed safely and in a timely manner
• Work is across 7 days and nights and all at the Centre – on one site only.

• Qualified holding a certificate of competency as an electrical mechanic or fitter/mechanic
• Possess a minimum of 2 years commercial or industrial experience.
• Cabling, elevated work platform and forklift licences would be desirable but not essential.
Please notealso,applicants must have Australian residency or Permanent Resident status. The successful applicant will be required to provide the Centre with a National Police Certificate Name Only (Police Check).
