About the role:
Working in our Maintenance department at our factory in Sydney’s south and reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the provision of preventative and corrective maintenance as part of the factory maintenance team. The hours of work are typically Monday to Friday with day, afternoon and night shifts available plus overtime as required.
Essential selection criteria include:
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- Minimum 2 years’ demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in automation and control: VSD, PLC control systems, HMIs and Scada
- Reliable, punctual and able to work autonomously
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Highly collaborative and a team player
- Demonstrated skills/experience in relation to safety including risk management (e.g. LOTO, Take 5, Permit to Work, near miss reporting etc)
- Experience working in a FMCG environment
- Experience working on packaging equipment or FMCG experience in meat processing equipment
- Experience working in food manufacturing factories with an understanding of processes and hygiene requirements
- Some experience with the following equipment product filling, retorts/autoclaves, high speed packaging (case packers, sealers, labellers etc), or check weighing/metal detectors, Automation experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell (CompactLogix, Studio 500 etc), some Siemens, Omron, Modbus etc.
