Summary
Service Stream's Telecommunications sector are currently seeking a Full Time Electrician or ASP1, to join our team! The successful application will be primary responsible for building, maintaining and decommission telecommunications networks.
About the Role
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Wetherill Park, NSW
Reporting Line: Field Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Work onsite/in field as part of one or multiple crews daily
- Participate of actual site start up (i.e., mandatory pre-start activities)
- Install, remove and maintain MEN connections from LV to telecommunications network.
- Installation of power supplies
- Assist in constructing and decommissioning of telecommunications networks.
- Works in coordination with related 3rd parties such as landowners and regulatory authorities (e.g., power utility, council & transport
About You
- Hold a current Driver's license. (MR upwards would be seen favorable)
- Construction OH&S Induction Card
- Hold High Risk Work License - Elevated Work Platform
- Qualified as an Electrician or ASP1 or ASP2
- Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Overhead
- Willing and able to be part of a rostered-On Call Availability, including working outside normal working hours on a regular basis
- Willing and able to work away from home from time to time
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to respond calmly and decisively during a major incident or emergency.
- Ability to work autonomously within teams
