Electrician - Bms & Hvac

Due to ongoing company growth throughout North Queensland, we are seeking reliable, motivated, and experienced Electrician to join our Electrical Construction Projects Team in Townsville on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible to carry out BMS & HVAC works with Commercial Installations, Breakdown Support, Solar Solutions, for Peak ARE’s diverse and extensive commercial client base, which is growing rapidly. This new role is suited to a hard-working Electrician who takes pride in quality and efficiency with a proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrives on having autonomy and responsibility for their workload.

Ltd is a family owned and operated business established in Townsville, since 2004.With our current team of 80 staff, Peak ARE specialise in the delivery of Commercial and Industrial, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Electrical Services employing an all-inclusive methodology in the delivery of our works, with a strong reputation in being able to deliver expert results in the design, construction, commissioning and servicing of all key areas within the Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) & Electrical industry. These roles are placed within our Electrical Construction Department working alongside our Mechanical Construction and Service Departments, supported by our Safety and Administration teams.

Skills and Experience:

You will have a professional team player attitude and the availability to work flexible hours, these occasionally include nights, weekends, overtime, on call and out of town work. The applicant must practice a high level of Tradesmanship with attention to detail. They must have good communication skills, be punctual and well presented. They must be able to manage materials economically. The successful applicant must be able to work independently or supervised, working alongside other tradespersons and apprentices. They must be able to communicate well with Clients, Site Foremen, Builders, and peers, and have good organisational skills and also be receptive to learning new processes and methods.

Essential Criteria, Qualifications and License Requirements

• Current QLD Electrical Licence
• Experience in BMS, Mechanical Controls and HVAC systems
• Drivers Licence, Scissor lift ticket and other associated construction licences
• Available for immediate start
• Construction Induction Card
• First Aid Certificate/LVR
• Good character - reliable and honest with a positive attitude
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
