About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced electricians to join a committed team in the Electrical industry. The successful applicant will be responsible for mainly domestic and light commercial installation and maintenance work, or Refrigeration work depending on qualifications. We have a large variety of ongoing work with a great team.

We are seeking applications from suitably qualified Electricians, 3rd or 4th year apprentices and Refrigeration mechanics who have a high degree of self-motivation and are ready for a role that will extend their ability. The successful candidate will be one of the faces of Queensland Electrical Industries, so excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills are a must.

• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Presents well with strong communication skills for colleagues and clients
• Ability to run your own jobs start to finish
• Complete all jobs to a high standard
• Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and schedules
• Good organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• High level attention to detail

The following skills and qualifications are desired but not essential

• CEC Accreditation and Solar experience
• Working at Heights
• EWP
• Experience using service m8
• Current Open Cabler Licence – e.g. ACRS
• Current Refrigeration or split system Licence – e.g ARCTick Licence

Applicants must hold:
 

• Current LVR, CPR Certificate
• Current blue/white construction card
• QLD Electrical Work License
• Construction Industry White Card
• Manual Driver License
