Job Description:
We are looking for an Electrician to join our team. We are looking to hire someone for an immediate start (but we can be flexible on timings). Duties include construction work: installing cable trays & wiring, roughing in, fitting off, deck work, programming and commissioning.
This position is a full-time, ongoing position, working 38 hours per week, 7am to 3pm, but we are open to flexible working arrangements.
Our work is across the Sydney metro area.
Our office is located in Five Dock, but technicians rarely need to attend the office to pick up supplies, so this role could suit technicians located anywhere in Sydney.
Job Requirements:
- Electrician (fully qualified is ideal but not essential)
- Experience with Dry Fire systems
- White Card
- Experience in construction
- Valid drivers License
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Positive attitude and pride in workmanship
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail
- A sound knowledge of the BCA
- Fluent with requirements under applicable industry Australian Standards, Legislation and Regulations
- Organised, Self-motivated, able to work Autonomously and efficiently
- Proficient with technology
- The ability to be a team player, working well with others.
- The ability to work independently
- Scissor lift license (Yellow card)
- Fire Panel Experience would be highly regarded, but not required
