Ready to Light Up the Roads? We are seeking a qualified Traffic Signal Electrician for a 6-month contract in Sydney, potential contract extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-wire and install various traffic signs, including Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Variable Message Signs (VMS), and Intersection Signal Lighting Upgrade Systems (ISLUS).
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on existing traffic signs to ensure their optimal functionality and adherence to safety standards.
• In lab testing.
• Mechanical assembly.
• Wiring of electronic signs and traffic signals.

Requirements:

• Valid electrician's license/certification.
• Proven experience as an electrician, specializing in traffic signal construction and maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Variable Message Signs (VMS), and Intersection Signal Lighting Upgrade Systems (ISLUS).
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring adherence to high standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work independently.
• Driver’s license
• Working at Heights Ticket
• EWP License and advantage

Pre-wiring work is during the day then night works installing.
